Popcorn cake recipe

Ingredients
1 pack American Garden vanilla cake mix
1 cup butter at room temperature
1 ½ cups icing sugar, sifted
1 pack American garden natural popcorn
American Garden caramel syrup to serve

Preparation
Bake vanilla cake as per the instructions on the pack. Leave it aside to cool completely. Cut the cake horizontally into 2 layers.
Beat butter until light and fluffy.
Add sugar gradually beating constantly until well combined.
When the cake has cooled, spread a thick layer of buttercream frosting between the two layers then cover its top and sides.
Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours.
Prepare popcorn as per the instructions on the package. Arrange them on top of the cake.
Drizzle with American Garden caramel syrup and serve.
